Deepak Giri

I am a second year Information & Media doctoral student at Michigan State University, East Lansing, US and I am being advised by Dr. Megh Marathe. I completed my master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Indiana University, Indianapolis. Prior grad school, I worked as a full-time product designer for Osmo, Palo Alto, US.
My research lies broadly in the fields of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Accessibility.

Osmo School Central v2.0
Osmo makes hands-on learning activities for kids grades K-5 in North and Latin America. This project is a one-stop ‘hub’ for school educators to manage curriculum, lesson plans and student progress.

TrackSo User Research
TrackSo is an Internet of Things platform for solar analytics. I led this user research project to identify challenges of solar industry practitioners working in the solar rooftop segment in India.
